My friend, Cydney, started a wonderful blog I want to share with you. It's called Silver Penny in Her Shoe - a line taken from the old wedding rhyme "Something old, something new; something borrowed, something blue; and a silver penny in her shoe..."
Cydney is getting married in about a year and is making several wedding dresses from the fabric, lace, and vintage dresses she has collected. This way she can put all her ideas and materials to good use and avoid over-designing her dress. She'll pick one of the finished dresses to wear for her wedding and sell the others.

Cydney is a wonderful seamstress and hopes to use this project as the beginning of her future wedding dress business that will be called Silver Penny.
